Mahshid Karimi

Mahshid Karimi (née Eshghpour), age 84, passed away on March 31st, 2024, in Lafayette, CA after a decade-long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. 

She was a sensitive soul, strong, kind and generous. A gifted painter and artist, animal lover who rescued many homeless cats and donated to various animal shelters, she also rejoiced in delighting everyone with her incredible culinary recipes. In her spare time, she would enjoy reading, watching old movies, celebrating all things French and visiting museums. She was a loyal wife, dedicated mother and caring sister. 

She is survived by her only daughter, Dr. Katy Karimi, her spouse Houshang as well as her four siblings. 

Her loss will forever leave our hearts broken. 

May she shine bright in eternity and rest in glorious peace.
