Billy Joe Vecera

Billy Joe Vecera passed away peacefully on December 26, 2021 @ 89 year of age in Brentwood, California and surround by love ones. Billy was born in Billing Oklahoma in February 14,1932 to his parents Joe Vecera (deceased 1980) and Hazel Austin Vecera (deceased 1997) Billy was their first born, than his sister Barbara Jean Vecera Evans born in 1934 (deceased 2017). 

Billy went to High School and graduated in Billing Oklahoma. Billy attended Hill's Business University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he received his Bachelors degree in Accounting. He Joined the Navy and was stationed in San Diego California, was honorable discharged in the Korean War. He received the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Presidential unit Medal, Good Conduct & Nations Service Medal. He worked for Chevron as an accountant, contract Manager, after 40 years with Chevron he retired as Vice President/Manager in San Francisco and travelled around the world with the company.

He married his first wife Donna Scott Vecera in 1953 (deceased 1998) and were married for 45 years. Survived by Son Clifford Scott Vecera and 3 grand children Clifford, Christopher, Daniel and Daughter in law Estella.

He married his second wife Geraldine Hartman Vecera (deceased 2020) and were married for 16 years.

Billy enjoyed Golfing, Boating, Fishing, Basketball, Baseball & Travelling.

He will be greatly missed and remembered fondly, his memory will live on in the hearts and lives of everyone who knew him and loved him.
