Chase was born January 16, 1985 in Mt. View, CA. He was the eldest son of Nan & Charles Thompson. He lived in Saratoga, CA as a baby and a toddler and later moved to Martinez where he spent his childhood. Chase attended college in Santa Barbara, before changing his career path and graduated from the Oxnard Fire Academy. After graduation he returned to Martinez to begin his career, dedicated to the oil and gas industry for 13 years. Growing up Chase had a passion for skateboarding, he excelled in many sports including soccer, baseball and snowboarding. He loved fast cars, his first a 1985 Mustang 5.0, his ’97 Z28 Camaro and later multiple BMW’s. He loved nature and being outdoors, hiking and swimming with his best buddy Devin, who he rescued 12 years ago as a puppy. Chase lived in Walnut Creek, CA at his passing. Chase is survived by his mother Nan Thompson, her husband Mike Wildes, his father Charles Thompson his brothers Shane & Cole Thompson, his sister in law Samantha Thompson, his nephew Jace Thompson, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and coworkers. He also left behind his beloved dog Devin.

A celebration of life will take place on October 3, 2021 located at Laurel Picnic Area, Tilden Park, Berkeley, CA at 1:00pm
