Douglas Richards

Douglas Kenyon Richards (90) of Brentwood, CA Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 17, 2022.

Doug was born to Frank and Doris Richards on January 9, 1932 in Oakland, CA

After graduating high school at Oakland Tech he began working in the wine industry which became his career of over 65 years. Retiring as VP of sales and marketing with Weibel Vineyards. He made many life long friends and business associates everywhere he went. Traveling the world both in business and pleasure with family and friends. He was blessed with a fun loving spirit that touched everyone he met. He will be sorely missed.

He met Arlene in high school, she became his loving wife of 66 years on May 26, 1956. They had two children, daughter Kerry Arfsten and son Blake Richards, a granddaughter, Devonie Taylor, and two great-grandchildren Kalie Holt and Kevin Mendonca.

Doug was predeceased by his parents, brother and sister.
