Eric Carl Kohlmeyer
Jul. 1,1966 – Apr. 21, ,2021
Resident of Concord
Devoted husband and father passed away peacefully at home on April 21, at the age of 54, after a long and valiant battle with glioblastoma. Eric never complained about his diagnosis or treatments. His faith and positive attitude inspired many.
He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 21 years Kathy; they were blessed with two beautiful daughters Katrina and Jasmine, parents Dennis and Anne, sister Gretchen Persons (Mark), brother Dirk Kohlmeyer (Patty), many brothers and sisters-in-laws’, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, mother and father-in-law.
Eric was a 21-year member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 302.
He took great pride in his work and made lifelong friends in the process. Eric was a vivacious and generous man who loved his family and friends. Highlights in his life were his precious daughters, helping friends out, spending time on the boat, wake boarding, and swimming. He was a huge Giants, 49ers and Warriors fan. Eric was a caring, loving and supportive husband, father, son, sibling, cousin, nephew, uncle and friend. His kind heart will be missed and remembered with love by those whose lives he touched.
We invite you to celebrate his amazing life: Visitation 4 -7pm Sunday, May 2nd at Oakmont Cemetery, 2099 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette.
