Felice Theresa Delli-Pizzi Sassi

On May 8, 2021, Felice Theresa Delli-Pizzi Sassi

passed away at the age of 92. She was a devoted wife and loving

mother of her five children, five grandchildren and

great-grandson. She grew up in the Philadelphia area and

married Michael Sassi in 1954, whose career led them to

live in many parts of the United States. She was an elmentary

school teacher and lived in Danville, CA for the last 43 years.

In her second career, Felice was an award-winning salesperson

at I Magnin clothing store, and she also became a stellar tennis

player with a great backhand.

Her smile and sense of humor will not be forgotten.

She was the center of the family, loved large Italian family

meals and celebrations, and was always a gracious and

welcoming host.

Felice was preceded in death by her husband Michael

and her sister Nisa Delli-Pizzi Fratantoni. She is survived

by her children Lisa Sassi (Jim Witte), Tonia Sassi (Stevan Bosanac),

Michael Sassi (Andria Yeo-Sassi), Peter Sassi (Suzanne Sassi)

and Paul Sassi, her grandchildren Ava, Mario, Isabella, Joe  and

Mia, and her great-grandson Rocco.
