Jane Martin Giulieri passed away Wednesday evening at the age of 91. Jane was born in Ferndale and graduated from Ferndale High School where she met the love of her life and husband of 61 years, the late Milton A. Giulieri.

Jane is a graduate of Humboldt State where she majored in Home Economics. Jane was a founding member of the Diablo Home Economists. She taught at various schools in the community, later moving on to adult education where she taught sewing, pattern fitting, and dressmaking. She enjoyed the writing and publication of multiple cookbooks and the creation of various projects, including stuffed bears, porcelain dolls, quilts of all kinds, and whatever sewing project she fancied at the time. Jane loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life and she made sure that they each knew it.

Jane is survived by her two daughters, Lorna VanAckeren (Gary) and Liane Camblin (Steve).  Jane was predeceased by her son Martin A Giulieri.

Jane will also be fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren, Kristen, Erik, Dustin, Max, Samantha, and Jesse, and by her 4 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Katherine, Lauren, and DJ.

Her love for her family and nurturing demeanor will be thoroughly missed but her reunification with her husband, Milt, and son, Marty, brings her family peace.
