Jean Gough

February 27, 1933 ~ September 23, 2020

On Wednesday, September 23rd, Jean Gough, 87, passed away peacefully in Walnut Creek, Ca.
The native of Liverpool England came to California in 1962. She lived in Martinez for 10 years, and Danville for 30 years.
While living in England Jean was certified and worked with the British Red Cross Society and was a Telephonist. In California Jean managed H. Salt Fish & Chips in Walnut Creek and Concord. When she moved to Danville, she was employed at McCaulous Department Store.
Jean loved music but mostly jazz. Even with the dementia, if music was playing, she was tapping her foot and swaying to the music. She was an avid SF Giants fan and was a charter seat holder.  She enjoyed travel with her family and had many wonderful cruises with her friend Mildred.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband Brian Gough, her sister Isabella Brooks and her good friend Mildred Hunt. She is survived and will be missed by her daughter Elaine Siemons and husband Mike, daughter Janet Gough, son Michael Gough; Grandchildren, Robert & Jaclyn Siemons, Gabriel Berry, John and Ian Gough; Daughter In Law Debbie Gough and Son In Law Craig Berry.   

Private services will be held at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Relize Valley Rd, Lafayette, Ca
