Kimberly Diane Young was a loving wife, sister, cousin, and aunt. She passed away at home, in Pleasant Hill, California on October 7, 2023 at age 66 from her lengthy fight with pancreatic cancer.
She met her husband, Bruce Austin Frye in April of 1980. They were married December 26, 1984 in Reno, Nevada.
She was born in Oakland California to Robert Stanley and Elizabeth (Winters) Young on June 5, 1957. Eventually, her Rheumatoid and Osteo arthritis’ prevented her from keeping up with industry demands. She quit working and returned to school. She got an AA degree with Honors in Accounting at Foothill College; however, in the end, she didn’t return to work and became a stay-at-home wife, and focused on decorating and remodeling their home with antique Chippendale furniture and antique paintings, mainly of roses.
Kimberly did extensive research in ancestry / family history. Her meticulous and tireless work, coupled with her attention to details to find any and all information available about her, and others, ancestors dating back many, many generations, will be an ever-lasting legacy to all future generations for their enlightenment. The depth of her findings was truly amazing.
Kimberly is with the angels now. Forever in our hearts and minds.
May God rest her soul.
