Obituary for Lixu Xue

 

Lixu Xue, 90, of Walnut Creek, California, passed away peacefully January 30, 2021, at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

 

She was born on November 12, 1930 in Fu Jian, China. Lixu graduated from Jin Ling Girls College and received a bachelor degree in early childhood education.

 

She married Benquan Pan in 1960 in Beijing, China, and they lived together in Beijing until 1989. She then relocated to the States in 1990. Lixu is survived by three children: Yi Pan, of Sweden; Xin Pan (Sindy Kirkland), of Walnut Creek and Wei Pan, of Walnut Creek. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. Lixu was predeceased by her loving husband in 1989. 

 

Lixu was the head of the kindergarten of a huge State-run factory in Beijing. She was in charge of over thousand kids and employees. She was well received and respected by parents and employees and she loved her job. She earned numerous awards throughout her career. Lixu had been a devoted Christian all her life. Most of all, she loved and believed in God regardless the circumstances. Her most favorite saying was “God’s grace is enough for us”. Lixu went though many difficult obstacles. But she always put herself in God’s hands. She was a woman of faith. Lixu will be missed dearly.

 

Private viewing ceremony will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette. A Zoom memorial in Lixu’s honor will be held on 2/20/2021 at 1:00 p.m. Details will follow shortly.
