March 12, 1930 – March 20, 2021

Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Margie Dorian passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Fresno California at the age of 91. 

Margie was born on March 12, 1930 in Chicago Illinois to Ardam and Stephan Beklian.  She was raised in Oakland, attended college and in 1954 married Jack Dorian.  They settled in San Bruno and later in Martinez.  Her husband, Jack passed away in 1995 and she relocated to Fresno in 2008 to be closer to her son, Jack.  She was an extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother.  A superb homemaker - later serving a significant role in the family business.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sisters Sarah Beklian and Rosemary Serian as well as many close relatives who played very important roles in her life which include her aunt, Cornelia Kevorkian, her uncle, Hagop Beklian, her sister in-law Gladys Avedisian, her niece Louise Avedisian as well as her nephews Stanley Avedisian and Rob Serian.   She is survived by her sons, Jack Dorian and Ron Dorian, her grandson, Matthew Dorian, her great grandchildren Jacob Hutchison and Daniella Dorian, her sister Judy Sharafian and her husband Richard as well as nephews and nieces including Tom Avedisian, his wife Deb, Stephanie, Krystal and Carla Avedisian along with Steven, Derrick and Brian Sharafian, their wives and children.

Visitation will be held at Oakmont Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 31 from 3:00PM to 4:00PM.  Graveside services will be on Thursday, April 1 at 1:00PM.
