Marilyn Edwards passed in peace Thursday, August 26th, in Pleasant Hill, Ca, at the age of 86. Beloved only daughter of Albert and Harriet Hayes, she was born and raised in Oakland, Ca.

Her first husband passed away in 1979, and Marilyn returned to the Bay Area after 15 years in Boulder Creek and married her second, Kenneth Edwards, whom she had met through mutual friends. Following retirement from their respective careers, they moved to Pine Grove, Ca, where they were active members in the local community and their church.
Preceded in death by her parents, as well as her first and second husbands.
Marilyn was a devoted mother to Sandy Fettkeather and Eric Snow; daughter-in-laws Annie Voong and Connie Lauderdale; son-in-law Patrick Fettkeather; and proud grandparent of Christopher Fettkeather. Marilyn will fondly be remembered for her sweet and kind personality; as a loving mother and loyal friend; professional colleague; fine cook; avid reader; world traveler; and a lover of animals and nature.
