Olive "Lolly" June Fairclough

Lolly was a true matriarch; creator of the Fairclough family traditions. She made sure her son Steve with wife Theresa, daughter Sandy with husband Dan, granddaughters Tanya & Stephani, and the newest addition great grandson Maverick were keeping up with these traditions before she felt it was time to join Don, her husband of 66 years, in Heaven.
Born and raised in Oakland, Lolly and Don moved to Pleasant Hill 60 years ago to raise their family. If they weren't with Minnie and Mickey in Disneyland, on the beaches of Maui or enjoying the waves in Sea Ranch, you would most likely find Lolly watching her beloved tennis or Oakland A’s. She might also be baking cookies for the upcoming holiday and you knew exactly what holiday was approaching by the perfectly themed decorations in her house.
After a beautiful 93 years, Lolly has joined the love of her life and her beloved parents in Heaven. Although she will be missed dearly, we can remind ourselves that “Perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.”
Lolly will be laid to rest with her husband Don at Oakmont Cemetery in Lafayette, Ca.
