Paul Hed

Paul Hed, 91, of Danville CA passed away July 06, 2021. Paul was born Pinhas Hauskind on March 14, 1930 in Tel-Aviv, British Mandatory Palestine. At the age of 18 Paul joined the Israeli Defense Force of the newly reborn State of Israel. Paul served honorably defending Israel during the War of Independence (1948).

Paul was a gifted Electro-Optics engineer and was most content when inventing and studying his field of choice. He loved the United States his newly adopted home and visited almost every state with his beloved wife Ora (now deceased).  They left many photos and home movies to be cherished.

Paul leaves behind his children Ron Hed, Cindy Dikla Siedner and her husband Ron Siedner; grandchildren Tommy Yotam Siedner and Kerren Orli Siedner.    He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Hed and his sister Shoshanna Segal

Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 14th at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, California.
