Richard Ralph Lingenfelter

Richard Ralph Lingenfelter passed away on Monday June 7th after a long battle with dementia due to strokes. Richard was born in Nebraska and graduated from Grant High School in Sacramento. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War as a tail-gunner on a B-29 bomber. He then received a degree in business from CSU Sacramento. He met and married Roberta Laura Kneppel in 1955 and had four boys. Richard is survived by his devoted children Jeff (Audrey) of Browns Valley, Mark (Diane) of Clayton, Craig (Julie) of Pleasant Hill, and Brent (Lori) of Concord; 12 beloved grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 4 sisters Audrey, Janice, Nancy, and Sharon.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Thursday June 10th from 5-8 PM at Oakmont Memorial Park and Mortuary, 2099 Reliez Valley Road in Lafayette. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
