Ronald Shipman Henrickson passed away unexpectedly December 16,2020 at his home. He was born September 26,1962 and was a lifetime resident of Contra Costa county.

Ron graduated from Acalanes High School in Lafayette. He worked for Harry’s Nursery and developed a love for plants at eighteen. He became a talented and hardworking landscaper who had his own business for 40 years.

Ron loved the outdoors and had many hobbies such as skiing, fishing, golfing, camping and in his younger days sailing and sail boating.  Ron was devoted to his family and friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand and his sense of humor always made us smile.

He is survived by his parents Ronald J. Henrickson and Harriette Henrickson of Lafayette; sister Margaret Bunke (Daniel), two nieces Suzanne Sinnaduray (Sanjiv) Danielle Kerstetter (Kyle); one great nephew James Sinnaduray, one great niece Eliza Sinnaduray. A family memorial service and interment was held at Oakmont Memorial Park and Mortuary January 4,2021.

A celebration of life and gathering for friends and family will be held at a future date after the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.

Ron will be greatly missed.
