Tressie Engberg Jacobsen

June 19, 1920- February 26th, 2023

Tressie was born in Crosby, North Dakoda on June 19th, 1920 and passed peacefully on February 26, 2023 in Castro Valley, Ca.

Tressie was 102.

She is preceded in death by her son Ronald Hansen, Her parents Herbert and Mary ( Zeman) Engberg, Husband Gardner (Bob) Jacobsen, Brother John Berant Engberg and sister in law Harriet Engberg.

She is survived by nieces Caren Engberg Terek (Leslie) and Dorka Engberg. Also Nephew James Edward Addams (Angelina)

She is also survived by long time companion William Rios.

Known as "Babe" to her beloved Bob, Tressie lived a spectacular life. There were Christmas parties at the house, She drove a Dune Buggy and rode on a motorcycle with Bob. They traveled all over the country and went on a safari and around the world trip. While in Africa she fell in love with Basenji Dogs and for a while raised them including giving "Jubah" to her father.

Tressie was also a lifetime member of the DAV, Oakland chapter 7 Auxiliary. She volunteered at the VA in Livermore, Volunteered with the A's, Hayward Women's Club, and the American War veterans. Fanatical about Elvis!

She will be missed by her family and friends, but most of by her kitty " Darling Princess".
